The exposition was created from the original historical facilities of the Jindřichův Hradec apothecary previously located in building No.164/I on the main square since the 17th century. The set of unique classical apothecary furnishings from the turn of the 19th century is exceptional in its exquisite ornamentation; the individual drawers not only have Latin signage, but also include paintings of landscape features and vedutas. A set of apothecary dishware from the original interior is displayed with older artefacts from the museum’s depository and with replicas of historical objects.
